The Root Cellar was built by Linwood Louden in the mid 90's. Every home had a root cellar because preserving the root vegetables through the long winters was very important since there was no way of keeping vegetables fresh. Stop by and check it out.Its located behind the cider house. Makes you realize how easy we have it today by just going to our local store and picking it up! No planning or storing up for the winter ahead!
